The KESRA was established to promote and disseminate academic research in the field of economic system analysis, which encompasses the interrelations between macroeconomics and industries. Our mission includes fostering academic exchange and camaraderie among members, facilitating scholarly interactions with related organizations and international academic bodies, and advancing theory, policy, practice, and institutional knowledge in this domain.

Founded in 2013, KESRA may have a relatively short history compared to other academic associations, but we have made significant strides. Over the years, we have hosted and co-organized more than 20 domestic and international academic events, published numerous research papers, and expanded academic research and exchanges. Our contributions have not only furthered academic development but also played a role in advancing the Korean economy.

The progress of our association is attributed to the active participation of our members, the passionate efforts of former presidents and executive members, and the support of related institutions, including the Bank of Korea. I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to all individuals and organizations that have contributed to the development of our association.

As the 3rd President, I, along with the executive team, will strive to create numerous forums for discussing and addressing the current challenges and solutions in the domestic and international economies. We are committed to fostering the presentation of academic achievements and the sharing and exchange of professional knowledge.
